2m Wingspan Giant Pterodactyl (Numbered Parts)

This version uses the same base geometry as the original model, but has been scaled up and re-cut into manageable, numbered parts for large-format printing.

⚠️ Read Before Printing

This is a serious project — not something to jump into lightly.

While I’ve arranged the parts to be fully printable (and I’ve done so with ABS in mind), some plates include multiple tall components grouped together. This works, but it does mean:

• You need reliable bed adhesion
• You should be confident managing taller prints
• You may need to adjust settings or approach depending on your setup

If you’re unsure, take a moment to review the plates before starting and decide whether you’re comfortable with how the parts are arranged.

🖨️ Printer Compatibility

• Best suited to well-tuned, enclosed machines
• ABS printing is very doable if your adhesion is dialled in
• ⚠️ Not recommended for A1 / bed-slinger style printers unless:
  • You print very slowly
  • You have excellent adhesion control

• All parts are clearly numbered
• Includes an “exploded assembly” STL file to guide the full build
• Designed to be assembled in sections for easier handling

• Supports are easy to remove overall
• Clean separation between parts helps reduce post-processing time
