Description
This is a 7x4 gridfinity tray for the 5 piece set of Veritas PM-V11 Bench Chisels sold by Lee Valley Tools. At this size you will need an H2D or similar bed size printer to print in one piece, or you can split the body in your slicer into to parts and place them next to each other on your gridfinity baseplate if you've got a smaller bed.
The chisels are beautiful but even when bought as a set don't come with any sort of case, just individual chisels in their plastic boxes.
Each chisel slot has a raised platform for the chisel blade to rest upon so that they don't dull against the bottom corner of the tray.
Because this is already quite a large model I decided not to add even more depth by making it stackable.
The text is debossed slightly into the surface to ensure that any errant wisps of dark text filament are less likely to be visible in the lighter body filament. I designed this print profile for PETG, wtih slower speeds and lower temps to ensure the text comes out as crisp as possible.
