Description

Edited and combined 2 models to suit my specific needs - ignore the print time/plates. The altered parts are offered separately on an additional plate, the combined mount is less than 90gs of filament and approx 3hrs print time.

Vertical mounting provides better access to cables for me and much better cooling for the US8 which is known to get quite warm, especially when using PoE. This is the non PoE passthrough model so there's sufficient space underneath for airflow and the DC connector. You may be required to remove the two rubber feet on the US8 on the inserted edge for a perfect fit.

US8 mount is based on - Vertikal Stand Ubiquiti Unifi US-8 Switch - Free 3D Print Model - MakerWorld
Model has been altered;
- Removed material around the hottest part of the US8.
- Removed locating tabs as they are not needed and it fits better without.
- Removed/altered feet to reduce total footprint (not required in combined model as it is very stable).

UCG Mount is based on - Unifi Cloud Gateway Max/Fiber Vertical Stand - Free 3D Print Model - MakerWorld
Model has been altered;
- Removed a portion of the mount to meet US8 mount cleanly.
- Increased thickness of mount on that side to increase distance to US8.
- Slightly scaled z to fill gap in US8 mount.

I have used PETG-CF in this instance as it was the highest temp rated filament I had on hand, PETG would also be fine. I'm not sure about PLA given the heat.

Brim ears and supports suggested.
