Just a small creator saving for a P2S... Thank you for the support!

Third-party filaments with the Bambu AMS require manually entering filament data every time, which is a tedious process for users who swap spools frequently. This sleek, OEM-style adapter solves that problem by simply transferring your third-party filament onto a Bambu reusable spool, then attaching an RFID chip salvaged from a used Bambu spool of the same type and colour. The AMS will automatically recognise it as a native Bambu spool, skipping manual input entirely. There are plenty of trusted third-party filaments on the market that work well with existing Bambu profiles, and if needed, calibration settings can always be adjusted manually.

Benefits:

  • < 2 grams, ~10 minute print
  • Saves time by eliminating repetitive data entry
  • Seamless AMS compatibility with any filament brand, and can estimate the amount of filament left on the spool
  • Reduces waste by reusing spools and RFID tags, DON'T THROW AWAY YOUR RFID TAGS!

The last GIF and image below show where the AMS reads the RFID tag, so it's important to orient the adapter properly on the correct side.
