Description

Vertical Drilling Jig with Replaceable Bushings (3–8 mm) + 45° V-Groove for Round Stock

As promised in my FDC Maker Lab bio, 3D printing meets woodworking once again with a brand‑new, super useful tool designed for real workshop needs.

This woodworking jig is designed to help you drill perfectly vertical holes using a hand drill, with maximum precision and repeatability.

Like all functional workshop tools, PETG is the recommended material for printing this jig, thanks to its higher toughness and wear resistance.
That said, I also printed and tested it in PLA, and it works perfectly fine for regular woodworking use.

The jig features replaceable drill bushings for 3, 4, 5, 6, 8 mm - AND NOW WITH THE NEW RELEASE!!! - 10mm drill bits.
If a hole wears out over time, you don’t need to reprint the entire jig — simply reprint the single bushing, saving time and material.

A 45° V-shaped groove on the base allows the jig to sit securely on cylindrical or round elements (such as dowels, rods, or round wooden parts), making it easy to drill exactly at the center.

✅ Key features

  • Accurate vertical drilling with hand drills
  • Replaceable bushings: 3 / 4 / 5 / 6 / 8 / and the NEW 10 mm
  • 45° V-groove for centering round stock
  • Recommended material: PETG (PLA tested and working)
  • Modular design: reprint only the worn parts
  • Ideal for woodworking, furniture making, jigs & fixtures

A compact, practical, and reliable tool for every workshop.

If you find this jig useful, please leave a like ❤️, download it, and consider giving it a boost 🚀 — it really helps me design and share new tools for the community!
