Let this fully cool after print (you can remove from the build plate) and rotate the hinges – NOT the pin – and then press the pin between your fingers to break the supports (don’t twist the pin – see image below). If you have filament and settings dialed in you can also gently twist the pin until you feel a little resistance (do not over twist), then twist the other way gently until it fully loosens. The hinges should move just fine. The more you play with it, the more it will loosen. PLA will work great. Some filaments will allow movement right after the print.  If you have issues, please contact me and happy to help. 

Emotional Support Ladder Fidget… One Rung at a Time

Some days you’re climbing up… some days you’re sliding down. This Emotional Support Ladder started as a simple idea, but it turned into something a little different for us — less about complexity, more about purpose.

It’s a small, tactile fidget that flips, slides, twirls, rotates, twists, and slips, but it also works a bit like a worry stone or grounding tool. Something to keep your hands busy while your mind settles. No noise, no distraction — just simple, repetitive tactile motion. This is something to fidget with while working through the ups and downs of the day.

It’s one of our simplest designs, and honestly, that’s the point. It’s a quick 36 min single-color print, making it easy to make a few for your desk, your bag, or to share with someone who might need a tiny “step up” during a stressful moment. Think of it as a little reminder: sometimes progress is just one rung at a time.
