Some mornings near water have a special feeling.
The air is still, the surface is warm, and a light mist slowly drifts over the water.

This bonsai scene was inspired by that quiet moment.

A small tealight sits beneath the tree and gives the water a warm glow. When you place an incense stick in the holder, the smoke slowly rises and spreads across the surface creating the illusion of morning mist drifting over the water.

It’s a simple effect but surprisingly calming to watch.

When the candle and incense are not in use, the piece still works as a decorative bonsai sculpture for a shelf or desk.

And somehow, every time I look at it, my mind drifts to a quiet morning somewhere in the Swedish forests, standing by a small stream with a fishing rod in hand, surrounded by nothing but still water and silence.

A small scene combining light, smoke, and bonsai, designed to bring a quiet atmosphere into the room.

Notes

This model is designed to print easily without AMS, and all parts can be printed separately so you can choose your own color combinations if desired.

The included print profile contains the exact settings used for the photographed model and has been tested and adjusted to achieve the best result. All filament types used for the showcased prints are listed in the Used Filaments section. You are of course free to change orientation or other settings for faster print times if you prefer.

Fuzzy Skin is optional and can be enabled or disabled depending on the finish you want, especially on elements like the grass or foliage.

Assembly is based on snap fits, so all parts are meant to press together directly after printing. Fit may vary slightly depending on printer calibration and material, so if anything feels too tight, lightly sanding the joint areas can help. No glue is required, but a small drop can be used if you want a more permanent assembly.

The incense holder is built into the handle piece. The hole is slightly tapered so the incense stick tightens naturally as it is inserted. If the stick is too long, shorten the wooden part of the incense stick if possible.

Bambu tealights fit in the candle holder, and the lamp piece is designed to sit loosely around the raised candle section.

See the reference image for the correct placement of each foliage piece on its corresponding branch.

Use candles and incense responsibly and never leave them unattended.
