2003-2008 BMW Z4 convertible top switch latch E85

Printed this to fit in the space where the privacy screen would have trigger the convertible trunk latch when lowered. I had removed it to do some work, and by doing the top manually I get some more space.

To install use a flat head or other small tool to push in the microswitch, then it should slide right in and stay sturdy. Pulls right out too.

(I made the whole for the flat head a bit bigger in the file then in the picture to make install easier.)

Be careful with trunk space if your hydraulic pump still works as it could damage the roof if the trunk is too full. But my car like most Z4's from this year is broken and I lower it manually.

My model is a 2004 z4 but it should work with any of those years unless something is different.
