Description
Summary
This is a mount for the 500w spindle that you can easily find on Aliexpress.
Be sure to align it perfectly or the Z Axis stepper motor won't be able to lift it. If perfectly aligned works like a charm, my suggestion is to mount everything without tightening the screws, give it a couple of full Z Axis rides and then slowly tighten the screws with the spindle at the middle of the Z axis.
This spindle is a true beast, and turns the EleksMill into a real CNC. It eats really everyting, wood, acrylic, and even Aluminium. Now I can make flawless PCBs in minutes!
I will soon make an adapter for the EleksMaker laser module.
Print Settings
I used a .6mm nozzle for speed and to improve the mechanical resistance, with great success.
Shell width: 1.8mm
Top and bottom layers: 2mm
The final print weights about 100 grams and it's rock solid
