This 3D printable model features a minimalist crescent moon that perfectly cradles a multi-faceted star. When powered by the MH001 kit, the translucent walls create a beautiful diffused glow, transforming any room with its changing light. It’s an ideal decorative piece for a nursery, a child's bedroom, or a cozy desk setup.
Key Design Features:

- Easy Printing: Designed for streamlined printing with precise fitment in mind.
Important Notes for a Successful Build:
1. Secure the MH001 LED Base: The MH001 LED kit is designed to fit, but it provides a looser tolerance for easier installation. To ensure a stable and permanent assembly, I recommend placing a small dab of super glue (cyanacrylate) or a piece of tape between the base of the LED kit and the inner base of the printed model.
2. Expert Support Removal is REQUIRED! DO NOT ATTEMPT TO REMOVE SUPPORTS BY HAND. This design features a refined overhang that requires supports for the cleanest top surface. To avoid damaging the model, you must use flush cutters (pliers/clippers).
- Method: Patiently and carefully snip the support structures into small pieces before pulling them out. Do not pull large sections at once. This requires care and patience to ensure the final model is not damaged.
Recommended Print Settings
To achieve the best results with this specific model, I have optimized the provided Arachne slicer profiles. If you are not using our profiles, ensure your settings match:
- Wall Generator: Arachne (Crucial for dimensional accuracy)
- Wall Loops: 2
- Supports: Tree (Build Plate Only)
- Tree Support Settings:
- Style: Tree
- Z Distance: 0.28mm
- Top Interface Layers: 3
This profile ensures a balance of strong structural support during the print and a cleanable interface (provided the correct removal tools are used!).
