Description

Modified version for improved filtration performance - V 1.0

 

Because the first version could have resulted in reduced airflow and consequently poorer filtration, the upper mounting of the HEPA filter has been redesigned. Fill the loose activated carbon filter to the MAX line directly below the HEPA filter. This will ensure maximum airflow and nearly perfect filtration for both ABS and engineering filaments.

 

 

Instead of buying expensive filters, I designed an adequate replacement with excellent filtration performance.

The filter consists of three filtration units to ensure maximum filtration efficiency and odor removal.

HEPA filter:

Assembly Instructions 

Cut a 7 × 7 cm square from the activated carbon filter pad and insert it into the top and bottom sections of the filter.

Insert the bottom section with the placed filter into the filtration box.

Pour an appropriate amount of activated carbon into the box so that the level is even with the internal marking.

Place a 7.5 × 7.5 cm HEPA filter into the box on top of the filled activated carbon.

Close the box with the top section containing the activated carbon filter pad.

 

Final Step 

Now simply insert the unit into the FNATR filtration device, and you can begin filtering.

I recommend replacing the filter cartridges after approximately 60–100 hours of printing, or earlier if needed.

The exact interval depends on the type of material being printed.
