I designed this wall mount because I like the style

It will be expanded further as it is intended to be a modular system So if someone doesn't want a skull, they can print a normal head or just a sphere etc on it in the future

All the parts are simply plugged together The mounting plate is installed on the wall and then the arm is simply slid in

The holes in the arm also serve as holders for clothes hangers

The print profile is not yet perfect but will be adjusted in the future

Update

Meanwhile, I have uploaded different variants for the wall mount and a second skull to choose from It fits on the original mounting arm; you only need to print the corresponding pin as I have changed the receptacle in the skull It is now square so the head no longer rotates if you don't want to glue it

In the future, I will also change the skull from the other profiles so that all have the same receptacle Additionally, I will upload more skulls

If anyone has an idea, feel free to contact me

I am open to all good tips

Do you perhaps have a picture of the skull and an idea of what the holder should look like

I tried to print it four times, it messed up horribly each time, so I made a few modifications, I'll share the better result tomorrow. In any case, as it is, you should avoid printing it as is, there's a lot of missing support on the back of the head, the inside is very hollow, so it's very light, it can break easily, so don't print it for now

Thanks for the info! For me, it worked out very well. I printed the head with lightning infill to save material and time, and as I said, it worked great. Of course, you can also print the head with infill and add supports. Personally, I had a slightly unclean print in the holes on the holding arm, perhaps set variable layer height. But I'm grateful for every tip

I'm filling the head, I reinforced the support under the head and it worked, I still have a few hours left but soon I will show the result

Replying to @Marcel1981 :
I didn't change a thing. I used a dual color filament. I know it was meant for helmets but I'm going to print a couple more for my other hats. This is a really cool print. Thank you..

The skull fits the helmet perfectly. I did run into an issue with the dovetail being extremely tight so I made an adapter for mine. other than that this is Amazing work!

Mega, thank you very much for the photo. I also noticed that it's tight, I think I should perhaps scale the wall mount down by 1-2 percent

Support Issue:Complete shit, the support crust came off after the 4-5th layer and didn't adhere to each other

I'm sorry it didn't work out, but that doesn't make it total crap! Many others have already printed successfully! Maybe check your settings! Are you printing via Handy or Studio

Hey, I basically only use Bambu Studio on my desktop PC. I've never had problems where the support rings don't align and stick together after the 3rd-4th layer. Don't get me wrong, the design is mega awesome and I definitely want to have the helmet holder for my helmet. But it's always a risk to waste almost 500g of filament if something goes wrong. I will definitely try again soon. Maybe you have tips for me on how and what to set so that the print runs smoothly. Thanks

the wall plate doesn’t fit the bracket and the rod is to small for the skull head, but it did come out nicely. I can’t provide a photo cuz I broke the wall mount putting it in the bracket.

Hello I'm sorry it didn't work out Try scaling the wall mount to 99% and the rod to 101%

I believe this is due to the phone, I was once told that the phone app resets the settings to factory default

I think I made a few beginner mistakes. First, I had problems with bed adhesion. So I learned to always clean the plate. And in hindsight, I would try a different support material. possibly water-soluble. since I spent about 30 minutes fiddling to get the supports out. How did you do it?

Replying to @user_1627173424 :
Yes, I also had my problems with the support. On the first print, I really struggled and therefore printed it on its back. Previously, the brim was on the bed. To remove the supports, I used dental tools and played with the Z distance so that they would come off more easily

very cool design, printed well. unfortunately the beard drills into the padding of my jet helmet and would damage it. maybe I can use it for the bicycle helmet

Ok I understand. I have a Gensler Titan which is a bit wider on the sides towards the chin. Maybe you have to scale down the holder a bit so it fits better and then insert a negative so that the hole fits
