MEGA Sheller - Sand scoop w/sifter classifier pans
Print Profile(1)

Description
Considered to be the sand scoop of all sand scoops, this thing has a massive 10 inch wide by 6.25 inch tall opening to scoop up a large amount of sand all at once! Connecting one pan after the other to the generous size scoop and large handle using a quick attach method, the 4 levels of classifier pans help to swiftly sift and sort out what treasures the sand has been hiding. Each sifting pan traps smaller and smaller items when connecting them in order: 1 inch, ¾ inch, ½ inch, and ¼ inch sized square openings. The end pan that is mostly closed off for catching the last tidbits and pieces has a strategically placed oval shaped opening that doubles as a handle to help wield this big, beach'n, sea shellin tool! To prevent from having to reprint the main scoop and handle from likely wear and tear from constant digging, and given the abrasive nature of sand, a separate trim pieces attaches to the front edge of the scoop and is easily replaceable.
Given that this MEGA Sheller is over 23 inches in length fully assembled, the convenience of having the modular pan system allows for it to be broken down and used also as individual pieces or even other combinations like only the scoop and end pan being connected together just to be used for a digging scoop. Different colors can even be used for each pan for easy identification of which classifier pan is which. It was printed BIG with the intention to utilize every square inch of the P1S build plate, and create one of the BIGGEST 3D printed sand tools the beach has ever seen. I hope you have BIG fun in the sun with this as much as we do!
