Rocky from Project Hail Mary Movie
Print Profile(2)

Description
The most famous engineer from Erid in the 40 Eridani system. The model is based on Rockys greeting to Ryan Gosling on the red carpet at the world premiere. Like half the planet it seems, I loved the book and then the movie made me fall in love with all the characters again.
How I made Rocky
I am just learning how to sculpt in 3D, if you are interested I 100% recommend Nomad Sculpt on the iPad. Rocky started as a rough AI-generated model but I fixed a lot of imperfections and made many key changes in Nomad. It is a very fun program but it has a learning curve. I am getting better all the time.
Boost Me (for free)
Thank you to everyone who has boosted my Rocky model. I am honored that you like him so much.
NOTE: You MUST use supports when printing Rocky. They are enabled by default but don't forget them. Tree style works very well.
Issues: Here are some issues that I have seen in the comments section.
- Supports failing. In particular, you must allow supports to sit on the base of the model. Do not select the “On build plate only” option. If you do, the slicer will leave Rockys torso unsupported and it WILL fail.
- The print head collides with the print. Perhaps the print head knocks over one of Rockys legs or one of the support towers. Look in the Bambu Wiki for ways to handle this. It can be caused by print warping, by over-extrusion of filament, using the wrong infill style, a cool print plate and others. I have NOT had that problem with my printer (A1 mini) and many people have had no issues printing Rocky but I will help if I can. Leave a comment.
I have a 4 color AMS version of Rocky but I currently have no AMS unit so I cannot upload it. It's not hard to do painting in Bambu Studio, give it a try.
