Description
The Code of the Kingdom
After decades of jumping on the same platforms and rescuing the same princess, Mario began to notice glitches in his reality. The pipes didn't always lead to the same place, and gold coins sometimes turned into green lines of code.
One day, a strange Toad with dark glasses named Morpheus offered him two mushrooms:
- The Red Mushroom: To awaken and see how deep the Goomba's burrow goes.
- The Blue Mushroom: To return to his simple life, believing that flying turtles are normal.
Mario chose the red one. Upon waking, he discovered that the Mushroom Kingdom is actually "Bowser's Net", a simulation created by a race of shelled machines to use humans' emotional energy while they sleep.
Now, rebranded as Neo-Mario, he has learned to manipulate the laws of the Kingdom's physics. He no longer needs "Power-ups"; he is the Power-up. He can dodge Bullet Bill's bullets by bending backward in slow motion and see the hidden code behind every brick block.
His mission: Disconnect the great computer "King Koopa" and free the inhabitants of the simulation.
"Do not try to jump over the block... that is impossible. Instead, only try to realize the truth: there is no block."
