- The King and Queen are humanoid elemental figures
- The remaining pieces (bishop, knight, rook, pawn) follow classic chess roles
- Each set features:
- 🔥 Flame-inspired details (Fire)
- ❄️ Crystal/ice formations (Ice)
🖨️ Printing info
The models shown were printed using:
✨ Translucent PLA for the figures
⚪ PLA Basic for the bases
➡️ Translucent filament creates a beautiful glowing effect, especially under strong lighting.
🔥 Filament tip (Fire set)
The Fire pieces were printed using:
PLA Translucent Mellow Yellow (13410)
👉 For an even stronger effect, I recommend:
PLA Translucent Orange (13301) for a more intense flame look.
⚙️ Suggested FDM settings
- Layer height: 0.1 mm
- Infill: ~50%
➡️ This gives the pieces a more solid, premium feel ♟️
