Origin
A miniature based on the popular game hollow knight.
The design and model has been fully created by me. It started as a project to make a “reskinned” version of the knight for in the game, that had a lifeblood theme and heart-shaped horns.
But as someone with a 3D printer, i quickly adjusted course to make it into a printable model instead.
Printing
As for the printing, I recommend a lower layer height (0.08-0.12), and very importantly: support
The bottom of the cape, head and horns need support. increase the top Z distance on the support to prevent damaging when taking off the support
Be VERY careful when taking the support off. Its an intricate design and too much force might remove the knight from its pedestal. I recommend tree support.
You can print the knight in multicolor and white, its rather easy to paint. (I tried both). If you want to minimize filament waste when multicolor printing, i recommend using only blue and white and painting on the black. I have uploaded 3MF files with these color settings as well.
I used regular white and black PLA and glow in the dark blue PLA.
