Description

Parametric Cup & Bottle Holder (with HSW Mounts)

This is a fully customizable cup and bottle holder for the Honeycomb Storage Wall (HSW). Instead of hunting for a file that happens to fit your specific water bottle, coffee mug, or spray bottle, you can just type your exact measurements into this generator and export a custom fit.

 

What it does:

  • Fully Custom Dimensions: Dial in the exact inner diameter, depth, and wall/bottom thickness for your specific bottle, tool, or mug.
  • Over 30 Decorative Patterns: Choose from standard solid and simple honeycomb walls to over 30 intricate traditional Japanese Kumiko patterns (Asanoha, Kikko, Sakura, etc.) with customizable wall and strut widths.
  • Angled Storage: Tilt the holder forward by any angle. This is great for dense layouts or for removing tall items without hitting the shelf above them.
  • Mug Handle Cutout: Add a customizable front opening slot with adjustable angles and base height - perfect for coffee mugs with handles, or for aesthetics.
  • Advanced HSW Integration: Generates perfectly blended Honeycomb Storage Wall mounting plugs. You can customize the hex size, add multiple vertical/horizontal columns for wide or heavy items, and seamlessly adjust the grid spacing.
     

Printing & Fit Notes:

Supports: Designed to print upright. If you leave cup_z_elevation at 0.0 and use the "Flush to Bed" placement mode for the HSW plugs, it generally requires no supports. 
HSW Plug Fit: The default hex plug flat-to-flat distance is set to 13.0mm, which is designed to fit loosely inside standard hollow HSW wall inserts. I highly recommend wrapping the connector in tape for a smooth, tight fit. Or you can increase the size a bit in the generator. You can easily toggle the plug orientation 90 degrees (Pointy Top vs. Flat Top) to match however you installed your wall.


Strength & Rigidity: For wider/heavier bottles, increase the hsw_horizontal_columns to 2 or more.
 

How to use the generator:

Online:
Simply click the Customize button right here on the model page (not available in Bambu Studio, only in the browser version) to open the tool in your browser. You can also access it directly via the MakerWorld Parametric Model Maker. Just drag the sliders or type in your numbers, and the website will generate your custom 3D file to download.

Offline:
If you prefer to run it on your own computer, download the .scad file and open it in OpenSCAD (it is free to download). Open the Customizer panel on the right side of the screen, adjust your settings, hit F6 to render the model, and F7 to export your STL. Note: This file uses the BOSL2 standard library, so ensure you have that installed in your OpenSCAD libraries folder.
