Suspended Photo Frame

Hi! I'm a 3D printing DIY enthusiast dedicated to making very practical models in daily life.

This is a floating style photo frame

Can accommodate 6-inch (15.2 cm × 10.2 cm) photos from the side

Note: Please do not scale down the model or modify the model parameters, otherwise the floating filaments may not print correctly. It is best to print with PLA.

As you can see, its floating state is very cool, but also very fragile.

You need to be very careful when removing it from the build plate, and carefully remove the supports at the photo opening (note that these are pre-designed supports on the model, you do not need to enable supports in the slicer software). This is not difficult.

Photos are gently inserted from the side.

Place it where pets or small children cannot reach it.

The photo frame on the right side of the image below is actually the central part of this photo frame. If all the filaments break, you can continue to use it. There is a frame stand that I will show in another model.

If you find it a bit flimsy, you can also print two and glue them back-to-back to get a double-sided floating photo frame. (In the image below, the back frame was destroyed by my cat, it's for demonstration purposes only)
