Quasihypoid gear transmission mechanism
Print Profile(1)

Description
Note: It is recommended to print the two hypoid gears with a 1 perimeter setting, otherwise, printing defects may occur due to inconsistent inner and outer wall thickness, increasing friction in the entire transmission mechanism. No requirements for other parts.
A hypoid gear is a special spiral bevel gear with offset axes and intersecting shaft transmission. Its core characteristic is that the pinion axis and the large gear axis do not intersect and have an offset distance, approximating the hypoid pitch surface with a conical surface. The tooth surface sliding in this structure is complex, requiring high lubrication, and it is extremely difficult to manufacture.
The angle between the gear axes in this model is 45°. In practical applications, this type of structure is uncommon.
