Baofeng UV-5R "Dock-Style" Cradle

This custom cradle is specifically engineered for the Baofeng UV-5R radio to provide a secure, rattle-free mounting solution in vehicles. Unlike universal holders, this design utilizes the radio's original side-rail geometry and belt clip for a positive mechanical lock.

System Compatibility: This cradle is designed to work seamlessly with the Dual-Mount Adapter Plate, which features specialized recesses to accommodate the radio's belt clip when mounted.

Features:

• Precision Fit: Internal dimensions of 54.5 x 30.0 mm ensure a very snug fit for the radio body.
• Internal Chamfers: The front corners are reinforced to a 7 mm thickness and tapered to follow the Baofeng's natural contours, providing maximum clamping force.
• Clip-Lock System: Features a vertical guidance channel and a horizontal "window-lock" at a 30 mm height, where the radio's belt clip physically clicks into place.
• Radio Protection: Mounting holes are countersunk on the inside, ensuring screw heads are recessed and cannot scratch the radio's housing.
• AMPS Standard: Equipped with a standard 30 x 38 mm hole pattern for easy mounting to ProClip or other vehicle-specific brackets.

Print Settings:

• Material: PETG or ASA/ABS (recommended for heat resistance in vehicles).
• Supports: Only required for the horizontal clip-lock window.
