32mm pipe clamp based on the pipe & hose mounting clamps | 32-63mm (M3) by Mateusz Tokarz. I made this model because I needed a way (for a garden greenhouse) to attach vertical downpipes without drilling (the base surfaces are aluminum and glass) with good surface performance. The following points had to be considered:

  • The pipe clamp had to be 32mm for a DN32 pipe
  • The distance of the pipe wall on the wall side (to the mounting surface) could be a maximum of 10mm, as otherwise, connecting the pipe would no longer be possible
  • The clamp had to be easily detachable
  • The clamp had to be attachable without drilling/screwing, i.e., adhesive
  • The clamp had to be attachable vertically with a good surface ratio
  • The mounting surface had to be rough enough to provide good adhesion
  • The dimension of the clamp (beautifully solved in the original file) should remain visible
  • The clamp should be UV and weather-resistant, as it is permanently glued

Therefore, I made the following changes:

  • the opening for the screw connection was closed using a generic cylinder
  • a base plate running parallel to the clamp opening of (L / W / H) 50mm x 25.60mm x 3mm was added

The base plate is completely covered by the vertical pipe during assembly. The 10mm distance is given.

For all those who cannot find a solution in hardware stores or specialist shops and want to attach a 32mm pipe aesthetically and concealed, I hope you like my solution.

Many thanks again to Mateusz Tokarz for the original pipe clamp, which saved me a lot of work and worry.
