Maxx Curved Shower Door Slide Roller

This hook replaces the bottom roller assembly on a curved shower door track for a Maxx corner shower.

The spring in the stock roller rusts away after a couple years and the walls/track on the shower can shift just enough that the roller jumps out of the bottom track as it slides.  There is no way to adjust the track without reinstalling the shower walls and track.

I designed this hook to replace the bottom roller and it rides in the lower track. It grabs the lower track and won't pop out if there's a slight track misalignment like the roller does. There are two hook depths included depending how tight of a fit you want.

This design requires you to install an M5 brass heat set thread insert into the hook and then use a 12mm M5 screw to mount the backing plate into it.  The stock metallic cover fits over the backing plate.

I printed it in PETG and the hook is 100% infill; it's been a week and it hasn't broken yet.
