Description
Mario Saw: The Puppet of the Kingdom
After years of watching the inhabitants of the Mushroom Kingdom squander their "extra lives" by jumping into the void purely for fun, Mario lost his sanity. He realized that no one valued existence unless they felt the weight of a deadly trap.
"Do you want to play a level?"
Now, under the name of Billy-Mario, he roams the corridors of abandoned castles on his small, rusty tricycle. He no longer rescues princesses; he puts them to the test. Mario captures those who have been careless with their lives and locks them in mechanical levels where time runs out (and the sound of the clock is a countdown to the end).
His victims awaken with a Blooper mask that closes if they don't find the hidden key inside an electrified coin box. His red eyes glow in the dark as he whispers through a static screen: "Many are called heroes, but few value the air in their lungs... It's-a-time to play a game".
