105mm Bottle Holder – AC-130 “Spirits Delivery System” (Bursting Projectile Edition)

What happens when a 375ml bottle of liquor meets an AC-130 gunship?

Precision delivery.

This upgraded bottle holder is modeled after a 105mm high-explosive projectile, inspired by the rounds fired from the legendary Lockheed AC-130 gunship. But instead of explosives, this version carries your favorite spirits — whiskey, scotch, rum, or whatever keeps your mission briefing interesting.

Unlike the threaded version, this design opens in the middle like a bursting projectile using hinged panels, revealing the bottle inside like a dramatic payload reveal.

Even better — the finished model fits perfectly inside a real 105mm projectile cartridge, giving it an even more authentic display if you happen to have one lying around.

Because normal bottle holders are boring…
artillery-grade drink storage is not.

Features

Assembly

The model is assembled using 2× 5mm wooden or aluminum dowels which act as hinge pins.

Assembly order:

1. Insert the two 5mm dowels into the base
2. Start by installing 8 sets of the hinged door pieces facing downward onto the dowels
3. Install the two pieces that accept the door “handles” (these can face either up or down).
4. Complete the assembly with the remaining 8 hinge sets facing upward, inserting the plug pieces into the door portions.
5. Insert the two 5mm dowels through the hinge channels.
6. Add the top of the projectile to complete the build.

The dowels are designed to fit snugly, but a small amount of glue can be added if you want to permanently lock everything together.

Printing

This model was designed to print cleanly with multi-color printing, but it also works great in single color if you plan to paint it.

This model was designed by an Explosive Ordnance Disposal technician with a love for military hardware, explosives history, and unique display pieces in mind.

It’s perfect for:

• EOD and military enthusiasts
• Collectors of militaria, projectiles, and cartridge cases
• Home bars that need a little more indirect fire capability
• Anyone who enjoys ridiculously over-engineered bottle holders

Final Notes

This is the projectile featured in the video/gif, dramatically opening to reveal the bottle inside.

Designed for people who appreciate explosives, bullets, militaria… and a good drink.

But don’t worry — despite its artillery appearance, it’s still fun for the whole family (as long as the bottle inside is age-appropriate).

Because sometimes the best way to store a bottle…

is in a 105mm tactical spirits delivery system.
