----- Model Info and Details -----
Meet your new favourite print for the little ones. This chunky retro pickup truck has all the charm of a classic wooden toy but made entirely on your printer, with satisfying rolling wheels, a roomy flatbed, and that rounded boxy style that kids absolutely love. It comes in two variants, a simple flatbed for hauling whatever imaginative cargo you can think of, and a farm version with a fence rail on the bed, perfect for transporting your favourite animal figurines. It makes a brilliant gift, a fun playroom addition, or a colourful display piece.
Assembly is straightforward and great fun. The wheels slot onto printed axle pegs. Mix and match your filament colours to make each truck totally unique, the examples shown use bold two-tone combos like yellow with blue hubs and blue with red hubs, but honestly any bright PLA works brilliantly.
Filament Colour and Material
PLA is the way to go here, it's easy to print and comes in loads of bright colours. Print the body in one colour, the wheels in black, and the hubs and axle pegs in a contrasting accent colour for that classic toy look.
Print Settings

Assembly Instructions
What you'll need: A small amount of super glue or PLA-compatible adhesive.
Step 1. Remove your supports Before anything else, remove all support material from the printed parts. Pay particular attention to the wheel arches and cab interior, as supports can sometimes be tucked in there. A pair of pliers or flush cutters makes this nice and easy.
Step 2. Dry fit first Before reaching for the glue, do a dry fit of all four wheels. Push each axle peg through the wheel and into the body of the truck. The pegs can be a snug fit, so if they feel tight, try rotating the peg gently as you push it in. This helps it seat properly without needing any extra force.
Step 3. Check you're happy Once all four wheels are on and rolling nicely, give the truck a quick test run across a flat surface. Make sure everything sits straight and spins freely before moving on.
Step 4. Glue it up When you're happy with the fit, remove each peg one at a time. Add a small amount of glue into the recess in the wheel, then push the peg back in and hold for a few seconds. Repeat for all four wheels, and that's it, you're done!
Tips
- Less glue is more. A small drop is plenty, too much can squeeze out and look untidy.
- Work one wheel at a time so you're not rushing before the glue sets.
- If a peg feels very tight even after rotating, a quick light sand on the peg shaft can help ease the fit.
