Description
I couldn't find a wall mount to attach individually printed letters with a small gap to the wall, so I tried to design something and share it here for others, as I'm actually quite proud of my first make :)
The workpiece part must be glued to the part to be attached with a PLA adhesive or cyanoacrylate-based superglue.
Then clamp the wall piece into the counterpart
Now stick a piece of double-sided adhesive tape to the back of the wall piece
After aligning the position with the component, briefly and firmly press the adhesive tape against the wall and release the wedging upwards
Now the wall piece should sit exactly where it needs to be screwed to the wall
Just mark briefly, remove the wall piece from the wall again and drill with a D=5.0mm drill for the dowel.
The rest should explain itself.
I have included the dowels and screws used in the pictures.
If you like the mount, I would be very happy about a boost ;)
