Introducing Thermoformed Easter Egg Container V2 🐣 — an improved version of the original thermoformed egg with better efficiency and new accessories.

This version keeps the same fun flat-print-to-3D thermoforming concept, while improving the tooling and adding new features.

What's New in V2

More Efficient Mold / Push Block

  • The updated mold and push block design uses 10% less material.
  • Faster prints and less filament used

New Egg Holders

  • Added dedicated egg holders so your thermoformed eggs can be displayed upright
  • Perfect for candy, decorations, or Easter baskets

Improved Egg Connection

  • V2 eggs include a longer top screw
  • This allows the egg to fit tighter and more securely into the holders

Compatibility with V1

If you printed the original version, you're still covered!

  • V1 eggs are compatible with the V2 molds
  • V1 molds can still be used with the new eggs

This means you can upgrade gradually without needing to reprint everything.

How It Works

  1. Print the egg flat
  2. Heat the print (heat gun or hot water)
  3. Use the mold and push block to form the egg shape
  4. Let it cool to set the shape
  5. Place the finished egg in the holder

The lattice structure allows the print to bend smoothly during forming while keeping the container lightweight.

Great For

  • Easter candy containers
  • Easter basket decorations
  • Unique seasonal gifts
  • Learning thermoforming techniques with 3D prints
