This model took me quite a while to make. If you like it, please consider boosting! Thanks!
This life-size head was designed with screen accuracy in mind. I based the design heavily on ND-5, the droid companion from Star Wars: Outlaws, using it as a reference for proportions and surface details.
The neck is articulated, allowing you to pose the head, though it can be glued in place if you prefer a more stable display. The model includes a hidden panel on the underside of the faceplate so you can install LEDs to make the eyes glow. Separate white eye pieces are also included to help diffuse the light.
During assembly, I recommend dry-fitting all parts before gluing to ensure everything lines up correctly. Once you're happy with the fit, the pieces can be permanently assembled.
NOTE: When balanced on the small surface at the bottom of the neck, the head may tip over if bumped, so please handle it carefully. When assembling the model, be sure to use a strong adhesive, as the neck supports the weight of the head.
UPDATE (4/3/26): I've added the stand! Its the second print profile. No glue is required to attach it to the head, just slip the back of the neck piece into the back of the stand as shown on the print profile cover. IT IS NOT FRICTION FIT, as that could scrape the paint.
