The Virgin Mary, a central figure in Christian tradition, is depicted here in a moment of contemplation and prayer. Her serene face and downcast gaze evoke a sense of peace, devotion, and contemplation.

This bust depicts the Madonna with clasped hands and a slightly tilted head, in a classical sculptural language that recalls the devotional statues widespread in European sacred art. The veil that wraps around her head and the soft folds of her mantle contribute to creating a harmonious and spiritual composition.

The model was designed for clean and reliable FDM printing, maintaining a good balance between detail and structural solidity. The volumes have been studied to preserve the expressiveness of the face and the readability of the forms even with standard layers.

🛠️ Tips & Tricks (recommended printing)

• Always clean the print bed with IPA or soap and water before printing
• Recommended layer height: 0.16 mm
  • superior quality on face surfaces and details
• For optimal results: use adaptive layers in areas of greater complexity
• Recommended supports: tree, gentle cold removal
• Post-production:
  • light sanding on cutting lines
  • primer spray for a “museum statue” effect
• Also perfect for painting: dry-brush or acrylics highlight reliefs with great results

⚠️ Tips for Optimal Printing

To achieve the best result with this model:

• Use correct temperatures for filament and bed and ensure the printer is well-calibrated before starting the print.

• It is recommended to use modeling pliers or precision tools to remove supports in a controlled manner.

• Small artifacts on overhangs are normal in FDM printing and can be improved with light sanding or a small manual finishing.
