Description

I made this tool after replacing the clutch on my Audi and not finding a clearly correct printable alignment tool for this clutch family. This model is intended to center the clutch disc during installation and is based on the 28-spline Audi/VAG profile used with the LuK 600 0139 00 clutch family. The dimensions were derived from the documented CTA 6276 alignment tool geometry: 28 splines, 30.55 mm spline diameter, and 24.79 mm pilot diameter.

This tool matches the clutch family used with LuK SAC / self-adjusting 240 mm clutch components and OEM reference 0B2 141 117 A / 0B2141117A. Catalog data for that clutch family lists 240 mm diameter, automatic adjustment, and 28 teeth.

Important: this is only a clutch disc alignment tool. It does not replace the special SAC installation/reset/compression tools required for self-adjusting pressure plates. The LuK 600 0139 00 kit is explicitly listed as requiring special tools for mounting.

Print recommendations: PETG, ABS, ASA, or nylon are better choices than PLA. Depending on printer calibration, a slightly undersized version may fit better because FDM parts tend to print a bit fat on splines
