Description
A fully customizable 4-way connector with three horizontal arms and one tilted vertical arm. Designed for building lightweight structures from rods, dowels, or tubes.
This parametric connector is part of my Modular Connectors system.
It joins three horizontal rods/tubes and one tilted vertical rod, allowing you to build frames where a vertical element needs a specific tilt relative to the base structure.
The model is fully customizable through MakerWorld Customizer, so you can easily adapt it to your own rods, pipes, or structural elements.
Possible uses include:
• gazebo or canopy frames
• tent structures
• garden constructions
• lightweight structural frames
• DIY modular builds
Customizable parameters
You can directly adjust:
• rod / pipe diameter along X, Y and Z axes
• angle between arms along X and Z axes
• arm lengths along each axis
• wall thickness
• clearance between rod and connector
This makes the connector adaptable to many different rod sizes and construction geometries.

• smooth geometry with rounded center joint
Printing
Recommended materials:
• PETG – good balance of strength and flexibility
• ASA / ABS – for outdoor use
• PLA – fine for indoor or prototyping
Tips:
• increase clearance slightly if your printer tends to produce tight fits
• enable extra_strength ribs for larger connectors or heavier structures
