Rotary Ashtray with Push Mechanism (Ø approx 170 mm or with 150 mm)

These modern ashtrays feature a practical rotating lid mechanism that reduces odors and prevents ash from blowing out. By gently pressing the center of the lid, the mechanism is activated.

The lid rotates by approx 45° and opens a slot of about 15 mm, allowing ash and cigarette butts to be easily deposited. When released, the opening closes again. (available with and without bearing)

Screw the thread on and off completely once for testing

Please align carefully and straight so that the thread runs smoothly

Take some lubricant (e.g from Bambu Lab) and lightly grease the spiral

Then insert the spiral into the designated guide

Now you can insert the spring and then screw the cap back on

Press the mechanism several times so that the lubricant is well distributed and the rotary mechanism runs smoothly

Update – New Design & Improved Lid

There is now a revised design as well as a second variant of the lid

The new lid version features an additional bearing in the upper button

This prevents the button from rotating when pressed down

Assembly is similar to the one without a bearing

The tolerance has been increased, so lubricant is no longer necessary

You can insert the spiral immediately and then the spring

Then screw on the spring holder with a BT2.6*8 screw from Bambu Lab

Then insert the bearing and then place the push button

You only need the screw and the ball bearing for this version
