Workshop extraction arm similar Festool CT-ASA FLX W

End the constant battle with your vacuum hose. This retractable and swiveling extraction arm reliably guides hoses up to D36 over your workspace, keeping them out of your way while sanding or routing. A function-first, 3D-printed solution for your workshop.
⚙️ Technical Features & Mounting
• Function: Fully swiveling and flexibly retractable for optimal routing of workshop vacuum hoses.
• Mounting: Pragmatism wins. The base can be easily attached to an existing pipe using strong zip ties or heavy-duty hose clamps. If you don’t have a pipe lying around, just use the included wall or table mount. The base remains fully swiveling in any mounting scenario.
• Length Adjustment: The reach of the arm is extended exclusively by adding more identical chain links. There are no links of different lengths.
🖨️ Print Requirements (Mandatory!)
Since the arm is subjected to mechanical tension and bending loads from its own weight plus the hose, there is a hard material limit here:
• Minimum Requirement: PETG. If you try to print this from PLA, you’ll learn about the physical concept of “cold flow” (creep) the hard way when the arm sadly droops toward the floor after a few minutes in the workshop.
• The Absolute Optimum: PETG-CF (carbon fiber reinforced). This provides the necessary mechanical stiffness and makes the joints durable enough for rough daily workshop use.
Assembly instructions.

The button has a small point at the top; this must be facing upwards when you press it in, so that it can be pushed through the hole (ideally using pliers).
