Description
This storage box was designed specifically for the Bambu Lab Rotary Attachment and provides a safe and organized way to store the unit. The lid features an integrated 3D printed label showing a technical outline of the rotary attachment, giving the case a clean and professional tool-case appearance.
A special feature of this design is the integration of the original Bambu Lab foam insert. The foam insert is placed inside the box while the upper foam section remains inside the lid. This creates a very convenient interaction: when opening the case, the rotary unit is immediately visible and ready to use. When closing the lid, the unit is gently embedded back into the foam, ensuring safe and cushioned storage.
The model consists of three build plates: lid, box body and locking clips. The clips keep the lid securely closed while still allowing easy access. The design is sturdy, easy to print and does not require special hardware.
Assembly can be done in two different ways: either using 6 cylindrical pins (3 mm × 45 mm) or M3 screws with matching nuts. All hinge sections are designed with a total width of 45 mm, allowing both mounting methods to fit perfectly.
