Freya – Bust of the Norse Goddess with Sacred Cats
Print Profile(1)

Description
Freya is one of the most important deities in Norse mythology. Goddess of love, fertility, beauty, and magic, she is also a figure deeply connected to war and the destiny of humankind
According to Norse tradition, Freya travels in a chariot drawn by cats, sacred animals that represent independence, power, and mystery. In this sculptural interpretation, the felines emerge from the drapery of the bust as a symbol of her ambivalent nature: sweet and fierce, bright and dark at the same time
