Description

Boost Me (for free)

If you like my parametric model - and it helps you keep your fridge sorted - I would appreciate a boost!

Need more space in your fridge? 👀

This is a fully parametric fridge shelf that helps you create extra storage space without blocking too much light or using tons of filament.

What I really wanted was something that is:

  • lightweight
  • strong
  • easy to customize
  • and not make the fridge feel dark and cramped

So I designed this shelf to use an open lattice structure that lets a lot of light pass through 💡
That means even if you use multiple shelves, your fridge still feels bright and usable.

The best part: it is fully parametric, so you can easily create your own version to match your fridge, containers, jars, cans, or whatever else you want to store. Fully use the space. Make it as tall and wide as needed - and you can also decide what you want to put in, and how strong it should be.

Compared to many other designs, this one uses very little filament while still being surprisingly strong.
The large 200 × 170 × 170 mm version with 2 shelves uses only 165 g of filament — and it can hold 5 kg as shown in the photos 💪 - So if you want to store your weights in the fridge - feel free - I heard that makes muscle grow better - now wait - that was music cables and CDs to freeze them for better music. 😄 Just kidding - only wanted to make the point, it looks “thin” but is strong.

Features

  • Fully parametric design
  • Very filament efficient
  • Strong and stable construction
  • Open structure for better light inside the fridge
  • Great for stacking and organizing food or containers
  • Easy to adapt to your own size needs

A practical little space saver that you can truly make your own 😄
