Cleverrol system

Inspired by the Gardena hose connectors, this system focuses on alignment and immediacy. Each screw segment is "Gendered," featuring a plug and a socket that ensures the diamond grooves line up perfectly every time.

How it Works

1. The O-Ring Seal: Just like a hose connector, the male end features a groove for a rubber O-ring. This provides the internal friction needed to keep the segments from vibrating apart during high-speed rotation.
2. The Alignment Key: A small "tooth" or flat edge on the connector ensures that you cannot snap the pieces together in the wrong orientation. This guarantees the helix path is continuous.
3. The Locking Sleeve: A sliding outer ring (or a simple snap-fit tab) locks the segments so they can handle the tension of a heavy "follower" (the diabolo) moving back and forth.
