Why I Made This

During routine aquarium maintenance, the original spray bar cap disappeared (probably into the gravel!). Instead of ordering a replacement and waiting for shipping, I designed a quick printable solution that works just as well.

Simple, reliable replacement for a missing or worn spray bar end cap.

This Eheim Spray Bar End Cap is designed to securely seal the end of your aquarium filter spray bar, restoring proper water flow and preventing unwanted leaks. If you've ever lost the original cap during cleaning or maintenance, this quick 3D print gets your filtration system back up and running in minutes.

The design provides a snug friction fit while remaining easy to remove when you need to clean or adjust your spray bar.

Perfect for freshwater and planted aquarium setups using Eheim spray bars connected to canister filters.

Features

• Clean, simple design
• Tight friction fit for reliable sealing
• Quick print with minimal material
• No supports required
• Easy to remove for maintenance
• Great replacement for lost OEM parts

Printing Recommendations

Material: PETG recommended (aquarium safe and water resistant)
• PLA also works for temporary use
Layer height: 0.2mm
Infill: 100% for strength
Supports: None required

Installation

  1. Push the cap firmly into the open end of the spray bar
  2. Ensure it seats fully for a proper seal
  3. Start your filter and check for leaks

Compatibility

Designed for standard Eheim spray bars commonly used with canister filters.

Because different setups exist, measure your spray bar diameter before printing if unsure.
