Description
Want to build a fog horn but dont have any PVC pipe lying around? Do you have a 3D printer or access to one? Well here it is the ever so simple fog horn. Each tube section is the exact same and can connect to give you a very deep rich fog horn sound. The more sections that you have the lower the tone. WARNING! It can be loud and can scare some animals. You have been warned
Assembly Instructions:
1- Obtain Balloon (I prefer the 12 inch durable balloons from Amazon)
2- Place the smaller ring inside the neck of the balloon
3- Place the end of the ballon over the wide end of the tube (female threaded end)
- make sure that the small ring and the tube are in line
4- Fold the ballon over so that the ring and the tube are side to side
5- Add the retainer to hold both pieces in place
- It is important at this step to make sure the ballon is not pinched on the end
- test your horn, if it is not making any sound adjust the fitment of the ring and retainer to allow the balloon to vibrate appropriately
6- HAVE FUN!
