Description
This model is based on the Pair of Guardian Kings (Niō) from Kamakura-period Japan (1200s).
Niō statues stand at the entrance of Japanese Buddhist temples and serve as powerful protectors against evil spirits. They always appear as a pair.
I resliced the model into multiple parts for easier printing.
Gluing is required during assembly.
The assembled statue is approximately 50 cm tall, making it a large display piece.
If you prefer a different slicing strategy, the original raw model is also included as a single-piece file so you can slice it yourself.
