Predator Helios Neo 16S Cooling Risers (V2.0)
Stop the throttle. This is a precision-engineered cooling solution for the Acer Predator Helios Neo 16S, designed to provide a $3/4$ inch rear lift for maximum fan intake without sacrificing stability.
đ Whatâs New in V2.0: The Mobility Refresh
After a rigorous real-world travel test, Iâve overhauled the geometry to move these from a "desk accessory" to a permanent part of the machine.
- Rounded Base: A refined contact profile for a stable, "finished" feel on any surfaceâfrom lap desks to tray tables.
- Precision Snap-Fit: Fine-tuned internal tolerances. These now "bite" the corners with confidence and stay locked in place when you move the laptop.
- Vent-Safe Bridging: Added a structural bridge to close the side gap found in V1. This adds significant strength without obstructing a single millimeter of airflow.
- Revised Silhouette: The outer profile now aggressively follows the factory lines of the 16S chassis for a cleaner, integrated look.
Why This Design?
- Caliper Verified: Modeled in Fusion 360 using precise physical measurements for a secure, non-slip fit.
- Zero Hinge Interference: Carefully shaped to allow the lid to open and close fully.
- Thermal First: The rear is completely open to ensure hot exhaust is never restricted or recirculated.
Recommended Print Settings (Optimized V2.0)
These settings have been tested on a Bambu Lab P2S using Bambu TPU 98A (AMS Compatible) for the perfect balance of flex and durability.
- Nozzle: 0.4mm
- Layer Height: 0.20mm
- Orientation: Print on the flat outer face (side) for a support-free experience.
- Walls: 3 Wall Loops (provides excellent structural "bite" for the snap-fit).
- Infill: 8% Gyroid (offers great structural support while maintaining the TPU's natural grip).
- Top/Bottom Shells: 5 layers each for a solid, premium finish.
Note: Specifically tuned for the 16S model chassis. Total filament usage is approximately 129g.
