Description

Here is my Modern Case design for the Raspberry Pi Zero 2W that adds protection and elegance to your Raspberry Pi projects! With the wind tunnel like design and addition of the 3010 fan, this will surely help keep your Pi Zero temperatures down while its running.

Features:

  • Easy to assemble
  • Nice, modern case design
  • Minimal hardware needed to fasten parts
  • Cutouts in the case for header pin wires and connectors

Exploded Assembly:

Assembly Steps:

Insert 4 M2 x 10mm screws as posts to align the Pi Zero.
Insert Pi Zero onto the screws and fasten with 4 M2 nuts.
Pi Zero should fit comfortably inside the case. Note: tilting the Pi Zero on one side should help while inserting it into the case.
Place the 3010 (30mm x 10mm) fan inside the fan guard and gently push the pins into the holes on the case.
Place the top cover, bottom cover, and grill into their respective places. Note: the cutouts on the side of the bottom cover should align with the cutouts on the side of the case.

Extra parts (not printed):

  • Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W
  • A 3010 fan (Amazon, AliExpress, etc.)
    • Recommend finding a fan that can connect to your Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W header pins if possible.
  • 4x M2 x 10mm Countersunk screws
  • 4x M2 Nuts

This is my first iteration of the case so far, and more iterations might be made.
