Description

A hook style can tip that fits an 11/13mm ambutech white cane. Designed to help the mobility of blind/visually impaired users.

This has been designed with a relatively large diameter and a flat end so as it wears down it does not become sharp and lasts longer before it catches cracks in the pavement. It's large diameter also make it possible to use on grass or in woodland.

You will require a standard, stainless steel 608 bearing typically used in skateboards/rollerblades.

How to fit:
1. Push the bearing into the large hole in the tip, either by applying weight to the tip or by using a vice or g-clamp. The bearing should be flush with the flat side of the tip.
2. Push the two halves of the hook bracket through the bearing.
3. Put the collar over the hook, with the wide end against the bearing.
4. Pull out the cord of the cane, until the retaining clip holds it in place.
5. Swap the old tip for the new one, as you usually would.
6. Lower the whole assembly carefully back into the cane.

Whilst every care has been taken to make this as useful as possible, I cannot be held responsible for any injuries caused when using this tip.
This print is in no way affiliated with Ambutech, this is simply the cane I use and hence have designed around.
