šŸ¦ Barlgura Miniature – Savage Demon of the Abyss
This miniature is part of the Monster Manual 2024 Collection, a series of iconic creatures faithfully reimagined as dynamic, tabletop-ready sculpts.

The Barlgura is a brutal predator of the Abyss — a demonic hunter that combines terrifying strength with primal cunning. Unlike many demons that rely on sheer chaos, a Barlgura stalks its prey with patience, using the environment, shadows, and its immense agility to close the distance before unleashing explosive violence.

This miniature captures the moment just before that devastating strike.

The Barlgura crouches low in a powerful, forward-leaning stance, its massive gorilla-like frame balanced on thick arms and muscular legs. Its body is covered in coarse, spiked fur that rises along the shoulders and back, sculpted with deep texture to emphasize both its bestial nature and its infernal origin.

Its demonic face roars in primal fury, jaws opened wide to reveal rows of brutal fangs. Curved horns rise from the creature’s skull, giving its silhouette a distinctly abyssal presence while reinforcing the monstrous anatomy of this fiendish hunter.

One clawed hand grips a jagged chunk of shattered stone, lifted as an improvised weapon ready to be hurled or smashed down upon its victim. The other arm braces against the ground, its long fingers and massive claws digging into broken terrain as the creature prepares to surge forward.

The Barlgura stands atop a fractured stone base scattered with cracked rock and ruined masonry. These elements reinforce the creature’s immense physical power while providing solid anchor points that ensure the miniature prints reliably and remains durable on the tabletop.

The pose conveys raw aggression and predatory dominance.

This is not a demon that schemes.

This is a demon that hunts.

✨ Key Features

  • Massive gorilla-like demonic anatomy
  • Curved abyssal horns and roaring predatory expression
  • Thick, textured fur with infernal spikes
  • Dynamic crouched pose emphasizing explosive strength
  • Jagged stone weapon integrated into the pose
  • Scenic shattered stone base for structural stability

šŸŽØ Great for Painting

Perfect for dramatic demonic color schemes: deep reds, burnt browns, shadowed blacks, or ash-grey infernal skin tones. The thick fur textures respond beautifully to dry brushing, while the facial features allow striking contrast between glowing eyes, teeth, and darker flesh tones. Subtle lava-like highlights or abyssal glow effects can elevate the miniature’s supernatural presence.

šŸ“ Scale & Compatibility

Scaled for standard tabletop RPG play, including Dungeons & Dragons. Ideal as an Abyssal shock trooper, summoned demon guardian, chaotic battlefield predator, or terrifying fiendish encounter.

Muscle.
Fury.
Hunger.

When the ground trembles beneath heavy claws,
a Barlgura is already charging. šŸ¦
