Japandi Sugar Bowl with Flip Lid
A minimalist sugar bowl inspired by Japandi design, combining Japanese simplicity with Scandinavian functionality. The ribbed texture and clean geometry make it a stylish addition to any modern kitchen or coffee station.
The model consists of two printed parts:
- the sugar bowl
- the flip lid
The lid is installed once by pressing it into place. Small integrated balls detents hold the lid in position while allowing it to smoothly flip backwards to open the container. This simple mechanism keeps the lid aligned and secure without requiring any additional hardware.
Printing Profile
The MakerWorld profile contains two build plates:
Plate 1
- Sugar bowl
Plate 2
- Lid
The lid profile includes a pause for filament change so the “SUGAR” text can be printed in a second color without AMS. Simply at pause change filament and purge old one, once get done start continue print.
