QBT Quarterback Tee Training Aide

3/23/26 Update:  Version 2 Legs published.  This new design uses a dovetail connection instead of screws.  This is especially strong if you can glue or weld the pieces together once connected.

Our local flag football league does not play with a player in the center position, instead they use a stand for the QB to hike the ball off of.  The product they use is over $120 online, making it inaccessible for coaches that want to practice outside of games!  Thus the QBT was born.

This works with all size footballs, from regulation NFL to pee-wee!

This training aide is great for any Quarterback to train with, whether that be flag football or tackle.  Train anytime, anywhere.

Print Instructions:

Print the following quantity of objects:

1x Top Base (football holder)

3x leg pieces (9 pieces total)

6x Leg Screws (each leg needs 2 screws)

*The model comes with a color logo, you can remove this if you don't want a logo on your print.

*Leg screws should be printed at 50% infill minimum, I print mine at 100% for added strength.

For reliable durability I reccomend printing in PETG, ABS or ASA.

Assembly:

To assemble, use one screw in each side of the middle leg piece, then attach the top and bottom pieces to each.

Once the legs are assembled, insert the top side of the leg (named “Leg Top QBT Interface”, not as rounded as the bottom piece) into the bottom of the base.  They insert at an angle facing outward from the hole you are placing it in.
