KitchenAid Grain Mill Dust Cover & Shroud

Keep your kitchen counters flour-free! This 2-piece assembly is designed specifically for the KitchenAid All-Metal Grain Mill attachment. When milling grains, dust often escapes the gap between the mill and the bowl; this shroud creates a barrier to direct 100% of your flour into the mixer bowl.

• Custom Fit: Slides onto the mill spout. This will fit tilt head models such as the Classic Plus and Artisan.
• Clean Milling: Eliminates the "flour cloud" common with high-speed milling.
• Two-Part Design: Includes the vertical shroud and a wide-brim bowl cover for maximum containment.
• Printing: Bowel Cover can be cut and orientated to fit an A1 mini build volume.

Food Safety Tips

• Material Choice: Use Food-Safe PETG or PLA. Avoid filaments with toxic additives or "glow-in-the-dark" properties which contain abrasive metal particles.
• Bacterial Trap: 3D printed layers have tiny grooves where flour dust and bacteria can hide. This part should be considered hand-wash only in cool, soapy water.
• Seal the Surface: For long-term use, coat the inside of the shroud with a food-grade epoxy resin or polyurethane to create a smooth, non-porous surface that is easier to sanitize.
• Stainless Nozzle: If possible, print using a Stainless Steel nozzle to avoid lead or brass contamination from standard nozzles.
• Replace Regularly: If the part becomes stained or develops a smell, reprint a fresh version to ensure hygiene.
