Description

This lever switch fidget was designed around a special flexure spring allowing for a snappy and satisfying click. When you flick the lever, the spring bends out of its stable state and into the middle (where it is compacted and is not stable). Because of this instability, it snaps quickly to the other side, making a satisfying clicking noise. Every component of this model was carefully tested and prototyped to achieve the polished fidget toy you see here. Using Print in place joints, this fidget can be printed in a single piece. However, you do need to put the end of the spring on the end of the switch before fidgeting. This is very easy to do, but I still provided an assembly GIF in the photos for this model. The body of this lever switch fidget is larger than most of my fidgets, making it ergonomic and easy to hold. Taking only 9.40 grams and less than 43 minutes to print, the Extreme Lever Switch Fidget is perfect for anyone who likes a snappy and satisfying fidgeting experience.

Printing Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Print Bed
    • Clean the print bed thoroughly with isopropyl alcohol to ensure proper adhesion.
    • Additional adhesive for the print bed is highly recommended! I suggest using 3D-Lac spray or a glue stick.

  2. Download the Print Profile
    • Send the pre-configured print profile to your Bambu Lab printer through the Bambu Handy app or Download and open the pre-configured print profile in Bambu Studio.

  3. Select Your Printing Options
    • Choose your filament type and color.
    • Select your print bed type (e.g., textured or smooth).
    • Confirm your printer settings, ideally for a Bambu Lab printer.

  4. Start Printing
    • Begin the print job. No supports are necessary.
