Update
Added a faster print profile variation after some… “passionate” feedback 😂
This version reduces print time by adjusting the wall count, infill pattern, and fuzzy skin contour settings for people who prefer quicker prints
Just like with the original model, I’ve taken your feedback on board and added a 20% larger option to the V2 lineup, so bigger remotes and bulkier controllers have a proper home as well. Thanks for the continued suggestions, they really help shape these designs.
____________________________________
A clean, minimal remote and controller stand designed to keep devices upright, organised, and easy to grab while looking great on a coffee table, media unit, or desk. After hearing the suggestions people shared on the original model, I put together Version 2 (V2) to address some of the most common bits of feedback. Thanks to everyone who took the time to comment and suggest improvements.
The stand has a gentle front-to-back taper, so your remotes stay visible but the footprint stays stable. The wide base and low profile make it feel solid and planted without adding extra bulk.
Compatibility
Originally based on remotes I use daily, including Amazon Fire TV devices and LG Electronics TV remotes, but V2 works well with many similar remotes.
| Version | Slot Lengths (cm) | Slot Width (cm) | Footprint (cm) |
| 4 Slot | 4 • 3.5 • 3 • 2.5 | 5.5 | 19.5 x 9.7 |
| 3 Slot | 4 • 4 • 3.4 | 5.5 | 15.5 x 9.7 |
| 2 Slot | 3.5 • 3 | 5.5 | 12 x 9.7 |
| 1 Slot | 7 | 5.5 | 12 x 9.7 |
Scaling
This model scales very well, so it can easily be adjusted in your slicer to fit different remotes or controllers.
Just make sure to measure your device and double-check the dimensions before printing to ensure the best fit.
Print Notes
Printed with Fuzzy Skin to create a subtle matte texture that reduces visible layer lines and gives the stand a more premium feel.
Filament is expensive, as is 3D printing, so please double-check your measurements. If you have any questions about changes or scaling, let me know—I had so much invaluable help from the community, and I don’t want anyone to waste their money and filament. Any questions please ask, I will reply to you!
You can also check out my other larger model, along with alternative sizes and slot arrangements.
